Unethical company!

DO NOT ORDER PLANTS FROM THEM. They send the plants at the end of June and expect them to live! They do not honor their guarantee and lose the original label that you are required to send for plant replacements.

Poor Quality

All my plants were moldy and dead. Not one but all were moldy and hardly any life in them. For what I payed was really ripped off.

Failure of product to grow strawberry plants were dead when we recieved them

We ordered 375 Strawberry plants and them late May planted and cared for them for three weeks out of the 375 plants only 7 have grown need to get refund after all this work would not want to spend the money time effort on planting any more of their product I would strongly suggest use of other vendor for your seeds and plants

No refund for returned products

I received my dead trees after they sat in at FedEx facility for 3 weeks. FedEx tried to get them to send me new products but they wouldnt. I sent them back immediately and 2 month later no refund. You call and get busy signal constantly but if you are persistent enough they will answer but it wont do you any good because they idiot on the other end of the phone will tell you they have no way to track the process because they are too busy. So disappointed with this company. Luckily Im only out $70 sounds like some people have lost hundreds of dollars to this company. Its sad that they can still operate and be rude and steal customers money.

Extremely dissatisfied

Had to wait a very long time with no notification from Burgess. Plants arrived late (mid June) and were dead. The company had no problem charging my credit card on April 30th. Very bad company.

Product not delivered

ordered raspberry plants on 4-6-21 and received a card saying $3,81 due for I don't know what.. That was paid by cc on 5-19-21. Can't reach you by phone so where are the plants???They are to be sent to my son in Maine.

My order from April 10 came last night, cramed in a bag and was all dead! Im not happy and I want a full refund! I ordered 6 lilac bushes from you about 6or7 years ago, 4 of them took and 2 didnt but they came in a box and were very much alive. But this mess I got last night is shameful! Please credit my account! I can send a pictures!

Horrible service, dead products on arrival

I've ordered from Burgess and their sister company Four Seasons Nursery, both in Bloomington, Indiana for years. What I always got was tiny, dead plants that took months to arrive and were always out of planting season. Long story short, the only thing I've had partial success with was privet hedges because they are so hardy. I figured I would take one more chance. Big mistake. Do not give these scammers your hard earned money.

Automated irrelevant customer service responses, no reimbursement

This is a scam, not a plants/seeds distributor. The mailed in paper catalogue looked legit but they sell only pretty images. Write to their customer care email and you will automatically receive a message that they respond in 4-5 business days and that expect delivery in 3-6 weeks. I have called dozens of times and written and after 8 EIGHT WEEKS we started receiving trickling in plastic bag wrapped bits and pieces as part of the large order, ALL EXCLUSIVELY DEAD plants, brittle dry twigs instead of plants. They refused to give any delivery estimates, refuse to answer to any message requesting to reimburse any funds, no offer to send any replacements. There is no customer relations. They probably dump the dead trash from an actual nursery but this is not a legitimate purveyor of live plants.

Order

2020 ordered a patio tomato which came too early so froze in the mail. Finally received a credit which was used for a replacement in April. On June 9th!!! order came but was Norway pines - not a tomato plant!!! Phone number is useless!!

I never got order

I don't know about my order. I thought you forgot me. 11 Sandstone dr Veazie me. Then I get this small flat envelope with a package of sunflower seeds. And a notIce that I owe you 69.13. for a order I never got. And I should have gotten my order long before now. I have heard bullstuff about your company. Then I read your reviews. Also I called more than a handful of times to order and never got through. So I sent in order and your company called me. That because I didn't want to put my credit card # in the mail. I have been getting your books for years.i planned my garden to what I ordered and I thought I did something wrong. Then I had to change everything. I want some answers and that charge taken of my card.
