No shipment,no response,took money

I ordered from Burgess in early May. They took the money for the order but never shipped it. I tried contacting them by email twice and got an automated response stating they would get back to me in a couple of days. No response yet. It is now going on the 2nd week of July. I'm trying to be patient and give them the benefit of the doubt regarding their "Covid 19" hype. TThink twicwime will tell for sure but it's not looking good at this point.

They suck

I ordered red bird in a tree shrub..waited weeks to get it.sent them an email asking if it was shipped got a generic email back it was then shipped fed ex. Upon opening the package yesterday i find a totally different plant than what i ordered and totally wrong for my area where the plant would go. They stuck a label on the plant stating red bird was out of stock replaced with red lobelia. I dont have constant moisture or water in my yard for that plant! Why would you just substitute without asking me first or contacting me about it and take my money???? Tried calling them yesterday and phone is off the hook you cant get through nor was email acknowledged. I want my money back!

Won’t refund money

I ordered on April 19 and as of July 2- still nothing. I have called numerous times to inquire about my products and today they hung up on me When I asked to cancel the order and now the number is busy. Crooked! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. I spent $186

Scam Company, Zero Customer Service

No Stars for these guys. I ordered a bunch of seed packets back in early April, and Burgess charged my credit card for the order. As of today June 30 I still have received no seeds and I've been unable to get a refund from them. I've tried calling them at least 20 times, but their phone is ALWAYS busy, and I've never been able to get through. I've emailed them several times but only get auto replies. My mistake was ordering from Burgess, never again.

User's recommendation: Keep shopping- there are a lot of seed & plant companies out there.

Lost order

Called several times about an order placed in May2020. Finally got through and they told us they were backed up due to covid19 but would ship ASAP. Never received items however they did debit our account for $73+ on June 6. Emailed them about not receiving order and were told they cannot find order!

Lost order

Ordered 1 peach tree and 1 apple tree and strawberry plants in May 2020. Never received anything however you did take $73+ dollars from my checking account on June 6th! Arrival of plants

after ordering in April,finally got my plants,June22. They were bad looking and one type I ordered was out of stock,so got a sub for them. Not at all satisfied and will not order from Burgess again.dodo not orderd

Bad products and customer support

I used to talk highly about Burgess in social media and share good stories with people that were unhappy with them. Now I've spent a lot of money and probably 80% of the plants never grew. Their warranty requires the customer to keep the packing label, which usually comes on a plastic bag the plants came in and returning that with the dead plants for them to do anything. Myself and many others did not keep that packing label, especially since our orders are stored in their records. Also, it makes no sense to send back the dead plants and have to incur even more expenses with no way of knowing how they will resolve the issue. Most companies would just send replacements or give back the money, even if it's just as credit. I haven't gotten responses from them to my past letters I've sent. So here is a copy of what I sent them today. "Waiting on an order still. I see I was charged, but no tracking order. Also, probably 80% of my orders I received have not grown. In a couple instances they started to and died off, but most have never shown any sign of growing. I didn't realize you expect the packing label to be shipped back with the dead plants. Apparently many others I've read complaining about your company have a similar complaint. I liked using your company, but if most of the plants won't grow and your warranty requires sending back the dead plants and incurring more expenses is what is required, then it makes no sense for me to continue ordering from you. I'm not sure what your feelings are about retaining customers, but something needs to change for me and many others to have trust and faith in your company. Check sites like PissedConsumer.com to see many complaints about you. Unfortunately, this COVID-19 thing has made business rough, but what stands out is companies that have very poor customer service and either ignore or fail to respond to customers. Yours is not the only one, but when this is over, the ones that make an effort to provide and improve customer services are the ones that will bounce back. I used to talk highly about your company in social media, despite all the people upset with you, but now I'm in that same category. I have a yard full of dead plants that I paid you good money for. I hope you take this response to heart and do what you can to improve your service and make things right for your customers."

Service stinks

Placed an order for plants on April 30. Supposed to take 2-3 weeks. In about week 4 or 5 tried to cancel my order. They told me they didn't know if they could cancel because my order was in shipping. Finally, after 71/2 weeks, I received a partial shipment of plants-All dead. Shipped by USPS and after being in transit for several days in almost 100 degree heat, it was no surprise they were dead. I would never order another plant from this outfit it they gave it to me for nothing and paid for the freight.

Products received dead

received plants that I ordered with dead brittle roots - requested credit or plant replacements via email to their customer service. received a canned email. emailed again, got the same email. Obviously they don't care.

Havent received my order its been 6 weeks

I will never order from this company again. You leave the phone off the hook. I'm filing a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General. You obviously took my money and don't have the plants to fill my order. 6 weeks is too long.

Bee and pollinating insect garden

Bee and pollinating insect garden did not sprout any flowers! I ordered 2 each at $19.99 MS8233 and neither one germinated anything. One in my garden and the other at my sons garden. We followed all instructions, and we have raised plants in our gardens for many years I ordered the bee and insect garden, plus some seeds on May 5, 2020. I have no problem with all my seeds, but wish the bee garden had worked for us, since we have many bee hives to support. My original shipping label has been misplaced, although I wish to inform your company that the bee mat does not have flower seeds that germinate or may lack them altogether. Thank you for your time on this matter.
