I ordered $59.00 in trees plants etc they arrived in a much smaller lengths than they showed & wrote in their descriptions. I contacted this company & was told 14 day return refund fee so I opted to have them replaced well they asked a handwritten letter to describe my issue with the order and quantity etc I did as they asked through the USPS & never got a response so I resent it they this time returned it with more reasons to not fulfill my replacement order STAY AWAY THEY ARE CROOKS

We ordered seeds and plants back in April, got an email in May that our seeds and plants would be sent soon. Meanwhile we are thinking that everything would come soon not until june 5. Then when we got everything it was all muss and mold. Hardly any good seeds or plants. We spent over 200$ to get *** the customer service is the worse. my kids have better matters and customer service then this company!!!

I made an order with this Co, on 1-13-19 of $522.00 they have taken my $$$ but have not delivered my product, I did get one box that had been opened and I'm not sure what all was to be in it. I have tried to make contact with them by E-mail and phone five times and not one return call or e-mail to date, NOT HAPPY WITH THEM AT ALL Angry

According to the Burgess Seed and Plant Company Terms and Conditions, if you are not satisfied with any product, you may return it together with the original shipping label within one year of receipt for a free replacement.
For a refund of the purchase price, you should return the item and the original shipping label, with the correct postage affixed, within 14 days of receipt.
Please note that each order is processed within 1-2 weeks. Seeds and Merchandise are normally shipped as soon as processing is completed.

I purchased trees from this company, they arrived broken in half, some of the items I ordered did not show up at all. When I tried calling and emailing.

No response from them, I wrote a very nasty letter and was refunded 1/3 of my money, only after jumping through their hoops. I will not do business with this company, SCAM ARTISTS I FEEL THEY ARE

Did not receive items I ordered

I ordered some plants back in March, 2019. when I hadn't receive by May I emailed Burgess asking when my plants would ship. The advised they were starting to ship to Ohio, I never received. I just want my $28.95 back. I would advise anyone not to shop with this company. I never will again.

.How about eight inches . 8 inches was the length of three of the trees. Not one too three foot like it is printed in your book. Angry Thirteen dollars for each tree ,what a rip off . I want my money back !!! Wtf

I have not received an order from 2-1/2 weeks ago. All Customer Service lines remain busy and they will not respond to emails. My resolution was to contact my bank and claim the charge was fraudulent so I could recoup the money. Very sad, used to be a decent company. Mike Perrin

Placed order on 03/09/19, they debited my account on 03/12/19, it is now 04/11/19 without nothing. Have contacted them twenty-four times through their contact page with only four responses. Was able to get them on the phone once and that was useless. Can't get a straight answer or anything definite from them. On the four responses I have gotten it is only "we are sorry for the delay" or "we can't cancel your order". They can't even tell me when my order will ship or if the products I ordered are even in stock. Buyer beware, they will take your order and money quickly but will then leave you hanging!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered hybrid willows , all of them arrived dead , they claim they are dormant in the middle of June. Planted them same day and there is still no signs of life from any of the 20 trees. And their refund policy is total BS and they know it, they know they are selling *** to people

Disappointment and setbacks

I ordered 32 Redleaf Barberry hedge-type bushes on Feb. 13 and dug all the holes for them and put weed block over the areas TEN WEEKS LATER I received a refund and notice those bushes were "not available". I've just been forced to order a new type of replacement bushes and will not know for a long time if they're available. And, I've had to fill those 32 holes and reconfigure for the 24 bushes that I do not know about. The call-center people were very nice and efficient but admitted they could not tell me if the order would be filled. They took the order and the payment. This is *** and disappointing service.

They got it right this time!

My first order with Burgess for 32 hedge-type bushes went 10 weeks before they notified me the product was "unavailable" and issued me a refund. I was furious because my home is on the market and the 32 holes in my yard, along with weedblock, was an unpleasant site. I followed up with an order of 24 different-type hedge-type bushes on May 6th and have been holding my breath for a response to that order. Today, May 23rd, I received my 24 dwarf burning bush plants and they were green, intact and healthy looking. I was almost shocked that my recent order should result in such a turn-around. I am very happy with Burgess this time. I would like to suggest they advise the call center personnel of inventories so customers placing orders are aware if their product is "available". And Burgess should advise customers as an order progresses through their system.

Pear trees not producing.

Planted a Bartlett and Kieffer Pear about 7-8 years ago. They grew wonderfully and have blossomed beautifully the last 3 years. However, the resulting pears are the size of small peas and remain that way all summer, even if I cut them back. I suspect they sold me ornamental pears instead of fruiting pears, either on purpose to make more money or by accident.

No response from Customer Service

On 3/13/2019 I placed an order for Popular trees. On 3/17/2019, I sent an e-mail request the status and potential ship date of my order. I received a reply requesting that I provide my name, address, and order number. "What" the information is on the e-mail as it is the order information conformation I received when placing the order. What "Idiots"! I replied informing the sender that the information is already attached. No Response! Requesting Burgess to cancel my order. Will contact credit card company to dispute the transaction.

Do not buy any plants from this company RIP-OFF

I paid $14.00 for what looked like a beautiful cherry tree, what I received was a dead twig. I expected to have fruit within one to two years. I will be long gone before this twig produces one cherry. This company is a joke.
